Mt John, Lake Tekapo

The Mount John Village Subdivision, currently at Stage 2, involves the commercial and residential development of former Defence Department land to the west of Tekapo township and above the lake. The development of this land situated in a landscape of majestic beauty in an area valued for its peace and tranquility requires a particularly sensitive approach. Lateral thinking and initiative are being employed to produce a unique development that will maximize values, both financially and environmentally, for the community as a whole as well as for the landowners.
Davis Ogilvie are also currently involved in two other major subdivisions, Town Front Development and the Civil Works for a 4.5 star 85 unit luxury resort within Tekapo.
Davis Ogilvie has been involved with all aspects of this project from the beginning, providing economic analysis, concept development, project design and long-term, stage-by-stage, planning. Comprehensive consultation with the community has been carried out to ensure that the best possible outcome is achieved for all parties concerned. As project manager for the project Davis Ogilvie is co-ordinating all other consultants and parties involved in addition to providing planning, surveying and engineering design services.
