Lochinver Run, Tekapo
Lochinver Run is a superior subdivision with premier views of Lake Tekapo. This 16ha greenfields development required particular attention as the major services of sewer, water and stormwater were either remote from site or non existent. Fronting onto a State Highway also necessitated consultation with Transit in relation to the position of road intersections. Access and easements were required across Department of Conservation land. A total of 110 lots are planned for the subdivision.
Davis Ogilvie & Partners Ltd provided project management services for the entire project along with resource management planning, surveying and civil and structural engineering services. Subdivision and land use consents were obtained from Mackenzie District Council and land use and discharge consents from Environment Canterbury. The engineering design work adopted the latest philosophies for the stormwater treatment ponds.
