Hunterview Heights, Timaru

The Hunterview Heights subdivision is located off Pages Road, Timaru. The development consists of 27 residential allotments along with the associated roading, accessways, reserve areas and infrastructure. The gentle rolling nature of the topography lends itself well to residential development, ensuring most sections maximise solar aspect and retain a pleasant view which also gives flexibility when positioning/designing future houses.
Davis Ogilvie & Partners Ltd provided planning, engineering and surveying services for the subdivision, along with ongoing project and construction management services for the entire project. Subdivision consent was obtained from Timaru District Council which required comprehensive consultation due to planning and infrastructure issues in the recently zoned Gleniti development area. Scheme planning and engineering design focused on creating a pleasing environment for future users and residents that should endure the test of time, with weight being placed on functionality and good urban design. Landscaping was seen as essential in the aesthetic qualities of the development.
